Dato’ Sri Yeat Sew Chuong is the founder and major shareholder of GD Holdings and the group of companies with numerous successful undertakings, award winning and financially rewarding projects. He was the first Malaysian to be awarded “The Outstanding Young Person of the World (TOYP) Award” by Junior Chamber International in 2003, under the Business, Economic and Entrepreneurial Accomplishment Category.

He has extensive experience in the business world, not only in Malaysia but also in global, especially in the China mainland market for over 30 years. Through his personal network and business network, he has successfully facilitated numerous international cooperation and foreign direct investment in to Malaysia.

In 1999, he was conferred the D.M.S.M. (Datuk) by the Governor of Melaka. Furthermore, he was conferred the S.S.A.P (Dato’ Sri) by the Sultan Pahang in 2015 to recognize his outstanding contribution to the country. In 2017, Dato’ Sri Yeat was appointed as the Special Advisor of Malaysia-China Affairs by Prime Minister’s Department due to his vast experience and strong connection in China for the past 30 years.

He holds various prominent positions in the Malaysia and International Chambers and Associations and has contributed significantly to the business and social communities. Besides, he also cultivate a lot of young talent by empowering them with entrepreneurial knowledge and seed investment into their start-up projects. Dato’ Sri Yeat is definitely a self-made successful entrepreneur with great vision.
